I've been busy with photography. Mostly candid portraits, flowers and wildlife photography. A lot of it is stuff that I shoot in the neighborhood with a few special events thrown in for good measure. I've developed a knack for capturing hummingbirds on my camera - a new Nikon that I've had since December. I got a new lens for my birthday which has given me the ability to do lots of close-up shots.
Emily is now 18. She is off on a road trip with her girlfriend Kathleen. They surprised Stephen, Emily's Dad by visiting him in New York.
Jaynie has been getting me to ride my bike more lately. I'm also starting to do some weight training with a neighbor who is very buff.

Introduction
This is my first and only blog, so bear with me while I get the hang of it. I love my work and my family of four (me, partner, 17 year old daughter and our dog). I show my artwork in Berkeley, California, at Expression's Gallery which is run by a wonderful owner and curator named Rinna. I work in several mediums including digital, digital video and printed textiles. I get a lot of inspiration from my travels to places like Costa Rica, Bonaire, Key West and Mexico. Some of my video work is posted on YouTube, including one that features footage of wild dolphins in Key West. YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/51352468
